PWSteal.Zbot.G
PWSteal.Zbot.G is a Trojan program designed to steal victims' passwords. PWSteal.Zbot.G can be spread via malicious websites, spam e-mails or infected downloads. PWSteal.Zbot.G is able to gather sensitive information such as passwords, login details and other personally identifiable credentials stored in different locations on a compromised PC. PWSteal.Zbot.G obtains this information by using a keylogger that will record a victim's keystrokes. The stolen information is later sent to a remote server were the cyber criminal can easily access it. PWSteal.Zbot.G may also disable existing security software in an attempt to avoid detection and removal.
