PWS-Mmorpg.gen is a password-stealing Trojan program that targets well known online MMORPG games. PWS-Mmorpg.gen may be downloaded by other malware infections or contracted when visiting malicious websites. PWS-Mmorpg.gen is able to inject its DLL component into certain running processes and monitor a victim's visits to specific online gaming portals. PWS-Mmorpg.gen gathers information such as usernames and passwords, that it later sends to a remote server controlled by an attacker.
