PrivacyKit Image

PrivacyKit is a fake PC cleanup threat that spreads with the help of browser security exploits and malicious trojans. The main purpose of PrivacyKit is to utilize misleading pop-up security notifications that state your system has been infected with spyware, in order to frighten you into purchasing PrivacyKit in order to rid yourself of these errors. These notifications and infections are all counterfeit, however, and PrivacyKit itself offers no protection for your computer whatsoever.
