PianoMan virus, otherwise known as PianoManCorrupt Virus or PianoMan Corrupt, is a malware infection, which corrupts Microsoft Office files. When PianoMan Virus accesses the PC, it looks for .DOC, .XLS, and .PPT files, and makes them unreadable. PianoMan Virus makes changes to extensions of files to 'PianoManCorrupt'. PianoMan Virus can be uninstalled with genuine security application; however, corrupted documents may still remain unreadable. Cybercriminals use various tricky techniques to deliver PianoMan Virus to targeted PCs. Mainly, PianoMan Virus penetrates into the compromised PC packed with freeware and shareware programs, so computer users should trust only legitimate download websites when looking for some free software products and be attentive when downloading free applications from dubious download websites. PianoMan Virus may also circulate via social networking websites that contain deceptive web-links that may also distribute PianoMan Virus on the computer system. If the PC user
notices that he can't access his files and that they have endings of 'PianoManCorrupt', this indicates that the computer is contaminated with
PianoMan Virus.
