OKitSpace

By CagedTech in Adware

OKitSpace is a potentially unwanted application/adware that may show disturbing pop-up advertisements when a web user is surfing online shopping websites. The irritating pop-up advertisements delivered by OKitSpace may be shown to the PC user as a box carrying discounts, saving coupons, deals, and offers. OKitSpace may be installed as a browser extension to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. OKitSpace may usually come packaged with freeware and shareware programs that web users may download from various download websites. When the associated program is installed on the web browser, OKitSpace may occur on the desktop of the PC. This specifies that OKitSpace might have already made some changes to the browser. OKitSpace may be executed as browser helper object (BHO), so the code does not need to be executed. OKitSpace may control the computer user's surfing habits and start when it spots that the web user is accessing shopping websites. OKitSpace may use gathered information while the PC user is surfing the Internet to deliver pop-up advertisements that are linked to his search queries.
