Malware Defense
Malware Defense Description
Malware Defense is a rogue program often installed by stealthy Trojans or unknowingly downloaded from malicious websites. Malware Defense tricks users into purchasing it by making them believe that their PCs are infected with numerous malware programs. This is done by providing false system scan results, annoying pop-ups and random warning messages. Recommendations will then be made to purchase the “licensed version” of Malware Defense in order to remove the falsely detected malware. Users should install a legitimate security application onto their systems should they encounter Malware Defense.
