Mac Security is a fake security tool that was created with the purpose of extorting money from gullible Mac computer users. Mac Security has a cleverly designed interface, one that closely resembles trusted PC security programs. The only problem is, Mac Security cannot be trusted because it does not have the ability to detect and remove real malware. Even though Mac Security may display notifications stating that it has found malware on a PC, the messages cannot be trusted because they are all fabricated.
