JS:ScriptPE-Inf Description

JS:ScriptPE-Inf is a JavaScript Trojan that propagates via infectious websites by corrupting HTML, PHP, and Java Script files on the infected computer system. JS:ScriptPE-Inf takes over the targeted Internet browser, thus leading to annoying diversion of search results to doubtful websites. JS:ScriptPE-Inf may also drop and execute more malware infections on the affected PC. JS:ScriptPE-Inf can access the corrupted workstation via drive-by-downloads. Once the online user enters an infectious website, JS:ScriptPE-Inf searches for the security flaw and exploits it to invade the machine. JS:ScriptPE-Inf enters a targeted computer without the PC owner’s consent and awareness by adding its code to running process and system files.
