Generic.gi, alias name Trojan.Agent, is a harmful Trojan that can surreptitiously infiltrate computers. Generic.gi does not self-replicate; it spreads manually often under the pretense of a legitimate program. Generic.gi can spread via peer-to-peer networks or unsolicited e-mails. On entering a computer system, Generic.gi will connect to a remote server and download malicious files onto the compromised PC.
