Email-Worm.Win32/Tanatos.M, also known as Tanatos.M, is an aggressive worm virus that blocks system security functions in Windows, as well as downloading additional malware onto the hijacked system. Generally, Email-Worm.Win32/Tanatos.M is installed on the computer through corrupt spam e-mail attachments, or via pornographic related web sites. Once active, Win32/Tanatos may degrade system performance and install damaging .exe and .dll files.
