'Cyber Command of Maryland' Ransomware, otherwise known as 'Cyber Command of Maryland' Virus, is a ransomware threat, which targets computer users in Maryland. 'Cyber Command of Maryland' Ransomware is generated and distributed by the Urausy Trojan to vulnerable PCs. 'Cyber Command of Maryland' Ransomware displays a frightening pop-up image/warning message 'Attention! Your computer has been blocked up for safety reasons' on the desktop of the contaminated computer. The Urausy Trojan, which is a component of 'Cyber Command of Maryland' Ransomware, locks the affected computer and asks for a so-called fine of $300 to be paid via MoneyPak or MoneyGram to unlock the blocked PC.
