Boxer Trojan

By GoldSparrow in Trojans

Boxer Trojan is a malicious Trojan generated by scammers and is used in mobile-based moneymaking schemes. Boxer Trojan targets Android phones. Boxer Trojan is advertised through unofficial, mainly China-centered app markets under the name of several different software programs, some of which are nonexistent and some of which are just names copied from legitimate applications such as Angrybirds Seasons v2.0.0, Better Keyboard, Flying Android Live Wallpaper, Guerrilla Bobv1.3, Monopoly HD, Motorola Droid Wall 2.3.4., Puddle Drops, Rainbow Six and many others. Once downloaded and installed, Boxer Trojan urges victims to send an SMS message to a premium number before they fully install the app. Of course, the premium number is set up by scammers so that they can receive money, and that PC users won't even get the full app in exchange. You should use a reliable security tool to remove Boxer Trojan as soon as possible.
