…finally I can access the net (at least!) through Firefox…
I wasted 5 hours to “battle” the Banker.Fox.A!
Be aware that right now is posting as “Antivirus Soft”’
(somewhere in England!) and IT WILL NOT allow
you or your software to do anything (Your software
package is corrupted”, “The package is broken” etc.
You are not able to open anything, NOTHING! No
Task Manager, no Word, Excel, Note pad, Outlook…
Nothing that can be used to ad some notes. You have
to reboot many times and be as fast as you can:
you have less than a minute to try to find the culprit
(I search by time/hour) and “Shift+Delete”-it!
Thanks for your posting!

Thank you for this article…we got Banker Fox when I clicked on a link on the front page of Digg.com. So Do NOT use DIGG.com! I informed their support people that we got a virus, and they didn’t even seem the least bit concerned.
It took us about 2 hours to straighten out our computer…everything was completely locked.
The way we fixed it was we went into SafeMode, and restored the computer settings to a different time, several days before. Thankfully, that fixed it.
