“Antivirus Software Error” is a fake security warning displayed by the rogue security software called Privacy Center. “Antivirus Software Error” is a fake warning that serves as a “License expiration alert” to coerce victims into purchasing the “licensed” version of Privacy Center. Once clicked on, the alert will redirect a victim to a webpage that will require his/her credit card details in order to purchase the said rogueware. Users should not trust the “Antivirus Software Error” and never purchase the rogueware it promotes.
