Antivirus Protection Center Description
Antivirus Protection Center is a fake anti-spyware program that was created with the intent to extort money from computer users. Once installed, Antivirus Protection Center uses fake alert messages and phony system scan results to scare users into purchasing a full version of Antivirus Protection Center. Antivirus Protection Center uses this ploy to make users think that they need a licensed version of Antivirus Protection Center to remove detected threats. Antivirus Protection Center is not a solution to any type of security needs nor should it ever be used for detection and removal of computer parasites.
