Adware.Apropos is a potentially unwanted advertising program. Adware.Apropos may have legitimate uses in the case where it is has been purposefully installed onto a computer. On entering a computer system, Adware.Apropos will download several .dll and .exe files that are responsible for the displaying of both anonymous and identifiable advertisements. Adware.Apropos may also inject a .dll file into the process space of programs such as explorer.exe or IExplore.exe. Adware.Apropos may also cause various "spyware warning" pop-ups to be displayed while a user is browsing the internet.
