ACommander is a fake security program from the Control Center family of rogueware. ACommander is a clone of PCommander and it is typically distributed by Trojans. On infiltrating a system, ACommander will generate fake system scans, security alerts and pop-up warnings in order to make the user believe that his/her PC is infected with malware. The user will then be advised to purchase the "full version" of ACommander in order to remove all the "detected" threats. This is all a scam. Never purchase this useless application.
