Once Zlob is installed, it will generate popups and system notifications stating that the user’s computer system is flooded with spyware. In order to remove these threats, Win Antivir 2008 offers to purchase Win Antivir 2008’s commercial version. All links provided by Win Antivir 2008 will redirect the user to Win Antivir 2008’s rogue website to purchase Win Antivir 2008’s commercial version.

Win Antivir 2008 may also run a system scan and generate fake scan results in order to scare the user into purchasing Win Antivir 2008’s commercial version. Win Antivir 2008 offers its commercial version to remove the imaginary risks. Win Antivir 2008 is related to the XPAntivirus and WinAntivirusPro family. Win Antivir 2008 may launch on every Windows startup.

Adware.BHO.BluSwede Description

Adware.BHO.BluSwede is an adware application that masquerades itself as a Browser Helper Object (BHO). SecureExpertCleaner can also be found on rogue websites that provide a trial for the user to download. Once Zlob is installed, it will generate an enormous amount of fake popups and system notifications stating that the user’s computer is infected with spyware. If the user is tricked into clicking on any of these messages, he/she will be redirected to secureexpertcleaner.com where he/she will be forced to purchase SecureExpertCleaner’s commercial version. SecureExpertCleaner will allege it’s able to remove the spyware found on the user’s computer system, however, this is just another mechanism to push the user into buying its full version.

SecureExpertCleaner’s trial version is also able to generate a computer system scan and display erroneous results to scare the user.

XL Guarder or XLGuarder, is a rogue anti-spyware program often installed with a Trojan called Zlob which is bundled in fake video codecs. XL Guarder may also be manually downloaded from a rogue website that provides the trial version for the user. Once Zlob is installed, it will cause popups and fake system alert messages to flood user’s computer system. XL Guarder’s messages will state that the computer system is infected with a large amount of spyware infections, and that in order to remove them, the user must download XL Guarder’s full version. XL Guarder is also able to emulate a computer system scan and display fake scan reports to trick the user into downloading XL Guarder’s commercial version.

All links provided by XL Guarder may redirect you to its website, XLGuarder.com, where XL Guarder is promoted as a legitimate software. XL Guarder may launch on every Windows startup. XL Guarder may cause system slowdowns and even instability.

Vitae Antivirus 2008, VitaeAntiVirus2008, VitaeAntiVirus 2008 or Vitae AntiVirus2008, is a rogue anti-spyware program and clone of Vista Antivirus 2008. Vitae Antivirus 2008 may have installed in the user’s computer system through a Trojan Zlob found in a fake video codec. Also, Vitae Antivirus 2008’s trial version may have been manually downloaded from a rogue website.

As soon as Zlob leaps into the user’s computer system, it will issue an exaggerated amount of popups and system alert messages stating that the user’s computer in flooded with spyware. Vitae Antivirus 2008 may also use its fake system scanner to display erroneous scan results to scare the user into purchasing Vitae Antivirus 2008’s full version of the program. Vitae Antivirus 2008 will try to convince the user into believing his/her computer is infected with spyware in order to offer the rogue Vitae Antivirus 2008’s commercial version to remove the listed spyware infections.

Adware.ThunderAdvise Description

Adware.ThunderAdvise is a parasite known to be created by Chinese hijackers. Adware.ThunderAdvise may connect to domains, such as ad918.com and ad9178.com, to download irritating and intrusive advertising. Adware.ThunderAdvise is also able to download and install additional malicious objects in the user’s computer system. Adware.ThunderAdvise may be difficult to remove manually.

AntiSpyMaster Description

AntispyMaster, AntiSpy Master or Anti Spy Master, is a rogue anti-spyware program and clone of AntispywareMaster. AntispyMaster is often installed in the user’s computer system by a Trojan Zlob or Vundo found on a fake video codec. Once infected, the user may be annoyed by an exaggerated amount of popups and system notifications stating that the computer is infected with spyware. In order to remove these infections, AntispyMaster offers its full version. If the user clicks on any link provided by AntispyMaster, he/she will be redirected to AntispyMaster’s website or another rogue website to further purchase AntispyMaster’s licensed program. In addition, AntispyMaster is able to run a system scan and display fake scan results to trick the user into purchasing a product that doesn’t give what it alleges to deliver. AntispyMaster’s rogue messages may read:

“Warning! 29 suspicious files found! Potentially dangerous files were found on your system during the last scan! IT is highly recommended to remove them as soon as possible…Remove Now!”

PCHealthCenter Description

PCHealthCenter or PC Health Center, is a rogue computer cleanup application disguised as a video codec or ActiveX control plugin. PCHealthCenter may have come bundled with Trojans, such as Zlob, Vundo or Downloader. Once installed, PCHealthCenter will act like any other common rogue anti-spyware program. PCHealthCenter will prompt popups and fake system notifications stating that the computer is infected with spyware. PCHealthCenter will try to convince the user into downloading PCHealthCenter’s full version of the program. PCHealthCenter may also use its fake system scanner to generate a fake scan report. PCHealthCenter’s scan results will generate a list of spyware infections supposedly found in the user’s computer system.
