AntiSpywareMaster Description

AntiSpywareMaster, AntiSpyware Master or AntiSpywareMaster.com is a malicious and rogue anti-spyware application. AntiSpywareMaster may be installed with the help of Trojans and other malware from the AntiSpywareMaster.com website. AntiSpywareMaster is designed to display deceptive warning messages stating that the user’s computer is infected to sell its product. AntiSpywareMaster comes from the same makers of AntispywareDeluxe.

Spy.Agent.sc Description

Spy.Agent.sc is a Trojan created to hijack the user’s computer and open a loophole, allowing downloads and installations of spyware and adware. Spy.Agent.sc also allows access to your personal and financial information to third parties.

Adware.BHO.ank Description

Adware.BHO.ank is a browser hijacker that disguises itself as a Browser Helper Object (BHO). Adware.BHO.ank is designed to create a search bar in the user’s Internet Explorer and redirect its browser to dubious websites that sell rogue products.

Trojan-Dropper.Agent.qfy Description

Trojan-Dropper.Agent.qfy is a hostile Trojan that hijacks and infects computers through security loopholes that are created to allow downloads and installations of spyware, malware or other unwanted software into your computer system. Trojan-Dropper.Agent.qfy may download spyware from various servers or other sources on the Web.

Trojan.Crypt.XPACK Description

Trojan.Crypt.XPACK is a Trojan that may install secretly in order to infect computers with malware. Trojan.Crypt.XPACK infects computers through security exploits and other deceptive methods. Trojan.Crypt.XPACK breaks into the user’s system and grants access to a third party who can then take control of the computer, steal personal information or damage the system.

Trojan.Spy.Goldrun Description

Trojan.Spy.Goldrun is a Trojan that steals passwords from online banking sites, email accounts, instant messengers, and other cached Windows passwords. Trojan.Spy.Goldrun uses these passwords to send them to the Trojan’s author for illegitimate purposes.

Worm.Edibara.A may also disable or hide Windows functions.

Trojan-Downloader.Tiny Description

Trojan-Downloader.Tiny is a Trojan program that infects computers via a security exploits. Once installed, Trojan-Downloader.Tiny opens a channel that allows access to your personal and financial information to third parties. Trojan-Downloader.Tiny may also download malware and unwanted softwares on a user’s computer.

Rootkit.Agent.ahb Description

Rootkit.Agent.ahb is a threatening Trojan that manages to sneak through most anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. Rootkit.Agent.ahb downloads and installs itself through a security breach into the registry, allowing a third party to entry your system without your approval.

SpywareStop is a rogue anti-spyware application. SpywareStop is often downloaded and installed by a Trojan, through browser security holes, or via other unconventional and unethical mechanisms. Once installed, SpywareStop will display notifications of imaginary security and privacy risks in its attempts to get the user to purchase the full version and may generate system slowdown and instability. This program can be extremely difficult to manually remove.

Pestbot Description

Pestbot is a rogue anti-spyware program created to trick users with alerts and misleading scan results into purchasing the full version of the program. Pestbot may also slowdown users’ computer system and use deceptive warning messages to sell its product. Pestbot is usually downloaded and installed by a Trojan through security breaches, or other dubious mechanisms. Pestbot comes from the same makers of AlertSpy 1.0.8.

Privacy Redeemer Description

Privacy Redeemer, or PrivacyRedeemer, is a typical rogue anti-spyware software. Privacy Redeemer is usually downloaded and installed without user’s knowledge and consent by a Trojan through browser security holes. Privacy Redeemer is designed to display fake security notifications and privacy risk warnings to deceive users into purchasing the full Privacy Redeemer program.

Trojan.Pakes Description

Trojan.Pakes, or Trojan.Win32.Pakes.bqb, is a destructive Trojan designed to install spyware and adware to a computer system. Once installed, Trojan.Pakes hijacks the computer and opens a security exploit, which makes the computer vulnerable and exposes your personal and financial data.

Registry Doctor Description

Registry Doctor, or RegistryDoctor, is a rogue registry cleaner tool that uses fake spyware or registry errors to trick you into purchasing the Registry Doctor software. As soon as Registry Doctor is installed, it will run a scan on your computer only to show false positives on its scan results, which can lead you to panic and download Registry Doctor’ full version to remove the registry errors. Registry Doctor’s alerts of security and privacy risks should not be trusted.

Trojan.Qhost.aes Description

Trojan.Qhost.aes is a Trojan created to infiltrate a user’s computer and open security holes through which adware and spyware are installed to the computer’s system. Trojan.Qhost.aes needs the aid of other spyware or viruses to spread itself and advertise corrupt anti-spyware applications. The user may click on a displayed popup and be redirected to a different Web page, which may cause Trojan.Qhost.aes to be downloaded and executed into the user’s computer system. Trojan.Qhost.aes is a dangerous threat to your personal and financial information.

Trojan-Proxy.Wintu.a Description

Trojan-Proxy.Wintu.a is a Trojan designed to create a proxy server on the user’s computer which allows a remote hacker access to it. Trojan-Proxy.Wintu.a allows the hacker to route HTTP traffic through the damaged computer, send spam emails, host sites that illegally obtain money, and conduct other unethical and fraudulent activities.

Toolbar.Vnbptxlf Description

Vnbptxlf Toolbar is a rogue toolbar that comes bundled with the Trojan called Zlob. Vnbptxlf Toolbar purpose is to promote rogue anti-spyware programs like IEAntivirus. Vnbptxlf Toolbar has several buttons that go to whatever rogue anti-spyware program that is popular to promote among hijackers and hackers on the Web. Vnbptxlf Toolbar appears on your browser and redirects your homepage to rogue websites. Vnbptxlf Toolbar may also display rogue security alerts in an attempt to trick unsuspecting users to naively download and purchase rogue anti-spyware programs.
