Antispy Protector 2009 is a rogue anti-spyware program that uses several deceiving tactics to persuade computer users to purchase a full version of Antispy Protector 2009. Antispy Protector 2009 is installed through either a security hole, malicious download or via the Trojan Vundo. In some cases Antispy Protector 2009 is installed without knowledge to the computer user.

After Antispy Protector 2009 is installed, it usually displays several fake popup messages and conducts fake system scans. Antispy Protector 2009 is not able to detect or remove spyware parasites. Manual detection and removal can be difficult to perform because Antispy Protector 2009 is able to load at startup of Windows in many cases.
