Re-Downloading/Re-Installing SpyHunter

Please, follow the instructions below to re-download and re-install the SpyHunter program.

MAKE SURE that you UNINSTALL all the versions of the SpyHunter before re-downloading and/or re-installing the new version.

To Uninstall the SpyHunter:

1. Click on the Windows "Start" button (in the bottom left corner of your screen.
2. Click on "Control Panel" (or "Settings", and then "Control Panel").
3. In the "Control Panel", double-click "Add/Remove Programs".
4. In the list of programs that appears, find any mentions of SpyHunter. Left click the SpyHunter item once. A button that says "REMOVE" or "CHANGE/REMOVE" will appear below the item. Click this button.
5. Go through the uninstaller, making sure to select the "Uninstall" option.
6. Repeat step 4 for any other "SpyHunter-related" programs in your program list.
7. Close the "Add/Remove Programs" section, and the Control Panel.
8. Check on your Desktop if all the SpyHunter Icons were deleted. If not, please delete all the remaining SpyHunter Icons, such as "spyhunterFULL.exe" or "spyhunterFULL_2U.exe", and "Spyhunter".
9. After you remove the SpyHunter Program, please reboot your computer before you re-download and/or re-install SpyHunter.

To Re-Download/Re-Install SpyHunter:

Please follow the instructions below to re-download SpyHunter software:

If, for any reason, you need to re-download SpyHunter, just follow these instructions again. YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED ANY ADDITIONAL FEES TO DOWNLOAD SPYHUNTER IF YOU HAVE THE EXTENDED DOWNLOAD OPTION.

Please MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE that ALL SPYHUNTER WINDOWS ARE CLOSED, and then follow the instructions below very carefully. Also, make sure that any FIREWALL SOFTWARE that you have running on your machine is DISABLED, as it may interfere with the download.

Here are the instructions to Re-Download SpyHunter Software:

1. Use your web browser to go to :
   
   www.enigmasoftwaregroup.com
2. Enter your email address and password into the "Member Login" box, near the bottom of the page. (If you have forgotten your password, it can be found in the receipt/confirmation email that was sent to you).
3. You will be redirected to the "Download Page". Click on the blue download button, next to the SpyHunter box, and save the file to your computer. Make sure to make a note of what folder you save the file in. Also, we strongly recommend that you save the file "spyhunterFULL.exe" or "spyhunterFULL_2U.exe" to your "Desktop" so that you can easily locate it for the installation.
4. After you download the file, double click it and go through the installation process(the file should be called "spyhunterFULL.exe" or "spyhunterFULL_2U.exe"). Also, make sure you run the "spyhunterFULL.exe" or "spyhunterFULL_2U.exe" and not the spyhunterS.exe file (which is the scanner version you have previously downloaded).
5. After the installation is complete, you will see a SpyHunter shortcut on your desktop, with a blue and gray icon with a picture of a face. Double-click this icon to launch the actual program.

Note: After installing the SpyHunter Software, please remember to delete the Icon "spyhunterFULL.exe" or "spyhunterFULL.exe_2U.exe" from your desktop. It is very important that you delete it to avoid future confusions. After installing the Spy Hunter Software, the Icon "spyhunterFULL.exe" or "spyhunterFULL_2U.exe" becomes useless.

Please check for definitions update every other week and always after installing/re-installing the Spy Hunter Program and also make sure you have entered your account information in the SpyHunter Settings.

To check the SpyHunter settings:

1. Click on "Settings" (located on the top of the SpyHunter window) and then choose "Options".
2. Enter you username (Email) and password and click on "OK".

Note: When you input your account information, please type it in exactly as you see it in this email, or copy and paste it. Make sure there are no spaces before or after your username/email or password.
