Transponder.BTGrab
Transponder.BTGrab is a potentially unwanted advertising program that stores itself as a Browser Helper Object once inside a system. Transponder.BTGrab is usual found on Internet Explorer browsers and can enter a PC via porn related websites or security holes in Internet Explorer. Transponder.BTGrab is able to monitor a user's internet activities, such as data entered into online forms or passwords, and then send the information to its controlling server.
TransponderBTGrab will also display numerous advertisements based on a users browsing habits, in the form of pop-ups or banners. Transponder.BTGrab should provide the option to remove it in the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel, if not; users are advised to use an anti-spyware application to effectively remove it.
