EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Zapp is adware created to probably show pop-up ads for commercial purposes. Once installed on the PC, Zapp may add an unwanted Web browser extension which is used for displaying random pop-up advertisements and messages. Zapp may spread and enter the PC bundled with free software that the computer users may have downloaded and installed from questionable download websites. If pop-up advertisements of Zapp are displayed on the computer, this may indicate that the PC has been affected by this adware. Zapp may double underline certain words on a website, and when the computer user hovers over them, 'Ads by Zapp' may be shown. Zapp's ads may be random or associated with the PC user's browsing habits and, if clicked, may reroute computer users to suspicious websites.
