XJR Antivirus is a rogue anti-virus application created to swindle users' out of their money. XJR Antivirus is from the same family as Your PC Protector. On entering a system, XJR Antivirus will create a start-up registry entry and simulate a fake system scan that will report false threats in order to scare the victim into purchasing its "full version" which does not really exist. XJR Antivirus will also display bogus security alerts and pop-ups in order to alarm the victim even further. Do not believe any of the security notifications displayed by XJR Antivirus and never purchase this useless application.
