Xaven is an adware/a potentially unwanted program, which is produced by Super Web LLC. Xaven states to be able to improve the computer user's Intrenet surfing experience by illustrating website ratings and permitting numerous website search functionalities. Xaven may embed its own extension, plug-in or add-on in Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. The functionalities of Xaven may look legal; however, in actuality, this adware may install itself on the browser without the computer users permission and may result in numerous irritating actions on the PC. Xaven cover the screen of the computer with disturbing pop-up adverts (search, text link, banner, interstitial, transitional and full page ads) or 'Powered by Xaven', 'Ads by Xaven' and 'Xaven Deals' advertisements. Xaven may trace the web user's Internet surfing (a unique identifier number, IP address, web browser information, OS type, URLs visited, search queries entered, websites viewed, other software and hardware information) and may result in serious privacy issues. Xaven may result in the slowdowns of the web browser and identity theft. Xaven may come packaged with freeware and shareware programs downloaded by web users from suspicious download websites.
