Worm.Moriogu.A is a dangerous Windows platform worm that may deteriorate the performance of an infected PC. Worm.Moriogu.A spreads via network shares and makes changes to certain system setting including the system boot menu. Once inside a system, Worm.Moriogu.A copies itself to certain drives. Worm.Moriogu.A disguises itself as existing folders in targeted drives by making copies of itself with the same name as the existing folder. All the malicious copies are saved as exe. files that will be executed when double-clicked on. The malicious copies will still display the contents of the original folder in order to avoid suspicion and avoid detection. Worm.Moriogu.A can be removed with a reliable anti-spyware application.
