Worm.Frethog.AI is a malicious worm program that is extremely complicated to detect and remove from a computer system without the help of a legitimate security application. Worm.Frethog.AI infiltrates the PC surreptitiously and stays hidden in the background of the PC system. Worm.Frethog.AI will also open the system's firewall, making it much easier for other types of malware threats to enter the computer system. Worm.Frethog.AI circulates through links in harmful and malicious spam email attachments, through corrupt video codec downloads as well as through pornographic websites. Symptoms related to Worm.Frethog.AI involve the running of weird processes, slow system start-up and shut-down, hijacked Internet browsers and malicious registry keys and system files, and the existence of strange desktop shortcuts.
