According to its official web page, the TypingFanatic Toolbar is supposed to improve your typing by giving you tests and exercises to complete. The TypingFanatic Toolbar is developed by Mindspark Interactive Network Inc. that specializes in other potentially unwanted programs like Speed Tracker, Elite Unzip and WeatherBlink. Security researchers note that the TypingFanatic toolbar can run as XPI and CRX file and may download a .exe file if downloaded by using Internet Explorer. The TypingFanatic Toolbar may change your search preferences and homepage and welcome you to change them to the MyWay search engine website manually. The TypingFanatic Toolbar is known to invite users to search via Myway.com and collect usage statistics like your recent search criteria, IP address, and approximate geographical location. TypingFanatic is part of the 'Fanatic' family of programs by Mindspark that includes Television Fanatic, Reading Fanatic, and Email Fanatic and will use tracking cookies, DOM storage and read your Internet history to execute behavioral marketing. The TypingFanatic program may appear on your 'Programs and Features' list on the 'Control Panel' and may be removed from the Control Panel.
