Trojan:Win32/Reveton.T!lnk
Trojan:Win32/Reveton.T!lnk is a Trojan that propagates as a shortcut file used by members of the Trojan:Win32/Reveton family of ransomware to assure they start whenever a computer user boots up a compromised PC. Trojan:Win32/Reveton.T!lnk attacks PC users from particular countries. Trojan:Win32/Reveton.T!lnk blocks the targeted PC and shows a localized image/ alert that on the desktop and asks to pay a fine to unlock the computer. Trojan:Win32/Reveton.T!lnk accuses victimized computer users for downloading and distributing illegitimate content to other PCs and performing other online activities related to cybercrime.
