TrailerWatch is an adware application that offers users the ability to watch the latest movie trailers online. While this may seem like a useful feature, you should not forget that popular video streaming websites like YouTube allow you to watch the same content for free, without requiring the installation of a 3rd-party program. Apart from having a superfluous primary feature, TrailerWatch also may bring unwanted changes to your Web browser's behavior. The installation of the TrailerWatch adware may bombard your Web browser with a large number of 'TrailerWatch Ads' that may include but are not limited to pop-ups, banners, in-text ads and video ads. As if that's not bad enough, 'TrailerWatch Ads' also may expose users to Potentially Unwanted Programs and other dubious software whose installation isn't a good decision. Furthermore, 'TrailerWatch Ads' may promote low-quality online stores or affiliate products and services that may ask for money, information and other valuable data.
It goes without saying that any website, product, service or program linked to 'TrailerWatch Ads' should not be trusted if you want to stay safe online. If you see 'TrailerWatch Ads,' and you don't remember installing the TrailerWatch browser extension, then the adware probably got to your computer via a low-quality software bundle you downloaded recently. Software bundles may often use deceptive installation instructions and other tricks whose goal is to confuse the user, and make them authorize the installation of 3rd-party software like TrailerWatch unknowingly. The only viable solution at this point is to use a reputable anti-malware scanner to clean your computer and remove any traces of TrailerWatch. This will eliminate the dubious browser extension and stop the 'TrailerWatch Ads' from appearing in your Web browser.
