KvmSecure is a clone of the infamous IEDefender. KvmSecure is a rogue anti-spyware application. KvmSecure is often downloaded and installed by a Trojan, through browser security holes, or via other unconventional and unethical mechanisms. Once installed, KvmSecure will display notifications of imaginary security and privacy risks in its attempts to get the user to purchase the full version and may generate system slowdown and instability. This program can be extremely difficult to manually remove.

AdvancedXPDefender Description

AdvancedXPDefender is a rogue anti-spyware application. AdvancedXPDefender is often downloaded and installed by a Trojan, through browser security holes, or via other unconventional and unethical mechanisms. Once installed, AdvancedXPDefender will display notifications of imaginary security and privacy risks in its attempts to get the user to purchase the full version and may generate system slowdown and instability. This program can be extremely difficult to manually remove.

XP-Shield Description

XP-Shield, XPShield or XPshield.com, a clone of WinXProtector and AntiVirProtect, is a rogue anti-spyware application designed to mislead computer users. XP-Shield downloads and installs itself by a Trojan, through browser security holes. Once installed, XP-Shield will perform bogus scan results and display notifications stating that XP-Shield has detected spyware on the user’s computer. XP-Shield attempts to trick the user into purchasing the full version of the program. XP-Shield is in the same family as AntiVirProtect and WinXProtector.

SpyMan Description

Spyman is a keylogger known by employers and parents to monitor computer activity. Spyman may be installed for legitimate purposes, however, hackers may use Spyman to break upon the user’s privacy. Spyman records keystrokes, takes screenshots, tracks online conversations, and more. Spyman is a threat to the user’s financial and personal information.
