Windows Antivirus 2008 Description
Windows Antivirus 2008 or WindowsAntivirus 2008 is a clone of infamous Antivirus 2008 and Antivirus2008Pro. Windows Antivirus 2008 is a rogue anti-spyware program designed to mislead users with false positives scan results and alerts. Once Windows Antivirus 2008 is installed, it starts scanning the user’s computer and will generate exaggerated notifications of imaginary security and privacy risks. These tactics are used to persuade the user into purchasing the commercial version of Windows Antivirus 2008 to clean the supposed threats. Windows Antivirus 2008 is often downloaded and installed via Zlob Trojans disguised as video or audio codecs.
PCPrivacyCleaner Description
PCPrivacyCleaner, PC Privacy Cleaner or PC PrivacyCleaner, is a rogue registry cleaner tool often downloaded and installed by a Trojan, such as Zlob or Vundo. PCPrivacyCleaner emulates a computer system scan and generates fake security reports and imaginary errors. Once a notification is clicked, the user will be redirected to the PCPrivacyCleaner website where PCPrivacyCleaner may be downloaded to clean the supposed threats. These scare tactics are only used by PCPrivacyCleaner to sell its product. PCPrivacyCleaner may generate system slowdowns and errors.
Pest-Patrol Description
Pest-Patrol is a malicious rogue anti-spyware program created to trick users into purchasing the full Pest-Patrol version. Pest-Patrol attempts to mislead users into believing that it is actually CA PestPatrol, a legitimate anti-spyware program. Pest-Patrol may be downloaded and installed with the help of Trojans that may have infiltrated the user’s computer system through a browser security hole, or via other unconventional and unethical mechanisms. Once installed, Pest-Patrol will generate deceptive notifications of imaginary security and privacy risks to sell its product. Pest-Patrol may also generate system slowdown and instability.
Trojan.Small.ayg Description
Trojan.Small.ayg is a spyware Trojan created to infiltrate into the user’s computer system, making it vulnerable. Trojan.Small.ayg opens a channel through which a large amount of spyware and malware leap to the user’s system without the user’s kknowledge or consent. Once Trojan.Small.ayg allows the entrance of unwanted malware into the user’s computer system, popup adverts are generated. Trojan.Small.ayg endangers user’s personal and financial information.
DisableSpyware Description
DisableSpyware, DisableSpyware 2007 or DisableSpyware 2008, is rogue anti-spyware software installed into the user’s computer system by Trojan.Zlob disguised as a Video ActiveX Codecs. Once installed, DisableSpyware may generate an exaggerated flood of imaginary security and privacy risks popups falsely informing the user that he has been infected with a numerous amount of spyware. DisableSpyware is the threat itself; DisableSpyware is a scam and should not be trusted. These are DisableSpyware clever strategies to mislead the user and persuade him into buying DisableSpyware commercial version. DisableSpyware does not offer what it alleges to deliver.
SpyGuarder Description
SpyGuarder is a rogue anti-spyware application created to trick computer users into purchasing the full SpyGuarder version. SpyGuarder downloads and installs itself by a Trojan, through browser security holes. As soon as SpyGuarder is installed, it will perform bogus scan results and display notifications stating that SpyGuarder has detected spyware on the user’s computer. SpyGuarder may generate a large amount of popups and fake system notifications. These tactics are an attempt to trick the user into purchasing the full SpyGuarder program. SpyGuarder may also generate system slowdown and instability. SpyGuarder can be extremely difficult to manually remove.
Trojan.Clicker Description
Trojan.Clicker is a spyware Trojan designed to hijack and infect user’s computer. Trojan.Clicker opens a channel in the user’s computer system by which large amounts of adware and spyware are installed. Trojan.Clicker’s downloads may generate large number of popup adverts. Trojan.Clicker is a very dangerous threat to the security of your personal and financial data.
Backdoor.ForBot.af Description
Backdoor.ForBot.af is a corrupt parasite often downloaded and installed onto the user’s computer system through security breaches. Backdoor.ForBot.af opens an insecure backdoor, exposing user’s computer system to third parties. Backdoor.ForBot.af gives the attacker full access to the user’s computer, without the user’s knowledge or consent, to perform fraudulent actions. Backdoor.ForBot.af is a risk to the user’s security and privacy.
