SpyHunter3 Blocks My Application Programs
If SpyHunter is blocking some or all of your application programs, it is most likely that you added legitimate applications to the ProcessGuard and RegistryGuard lists of Blocked applications.
Please follow the instructions below to remove your legitimate application programs from the SpyHunter3 Guards Blocked list:
To Remove Items from the ProcessGuard Blocked Items List:
- Click the ProcessGuard tab, located on the left side menu of SpyHunter3.
- Locate the Blocked Items box.
- Select all applications from the Blocked list and transfer them to the Allowed list, by selecting the application and clicking on the green arrow button.
To Remove Items from the RegistryGuard Blocked Items List:
- Click the RegistryGuard tab, located on the left side menu of SpyHunter3.
- Locate the Blocked Items box.
- Select all applications from the Blocked list and transfer them to the Allowed list, by selecting the application and clicking on the green arrow button.
Now, you should be able to access all your applications normally.
SpyHunter Guards need to learn the operation of your computer in order to fully protect you against future infections. You need to answer all the questions carefully, so that the Guards can learn all the applications your system needs to operate normally. When you answer a question from the ProcessGuard or from the RegistryGuard, SpyHunter will record that action and it will no longer ask you the same question again.
If you have a doubt whether you should allow or block a process, please look at the manufacture of the file trying to be executed. If the file belongs to a well known company such as Microsoft, Google, Symantec, McAfee, Apple and etc, you can allow the process to be executed with no doubt.
If you notice the file does not have a specified manufacture, we highly recommend you to block that application.
And if you block an action and one of your programs stops working, you can always use the instruction above to remove it from the ProcessGuard and RegistryGuard Blocked list.
If you do not like to use the SpyHunter Guard, you can disable the Guard just by unchecking the Activate ProcessGuard box, for the ProcessGuard and/or unchecking the Activate RegistryGuard box, for the RegistryGuard.
We MUST warn you that by disabling the ProcessGuard and RegistryGuard features, you will no longer be protected again spyware infections.
If you need to completely shut down SpyHunter, locate the SpyHunter icon, located next to the system clock, in the Start bar, on the bottom right side of your desktop. Right-click the SpyHunter icon and click Exit.
