Runtime Error 10 Fix

If you are experiencing Runtime Error 10 when you try to upgrade SpyHunter, here is what you have to do to fix the problem.
Click on the link below (or paste it into your browser) and follow the instructions to RE-INSTALL SpyHunter:
Note: Please ignore the “SpyHunter Settings” instructions on Download/Install Instructions for SpyHunter. Detailed instructions are provided further on this article.
After RE-INSTALLING SpyHunter, go to “SpyHunter Settings” and re-enter your username and password.
It’s very important to follow every single step below or your problem will not be resolved.
- Open SpyHunter (if you have it running, please close the program and re-open it once again)
- Click on “Settings” (located on the top of the SpyHunter window) and then choose “Options”.
- If you already have any information in the username and password fields, please delete them and then click on “Apply”.
- Enter you username (Email) and password and click on “OK”.
- You MUST re-enter the username and password.
If you are uncertain or do not know your username and password, please log onto our support page, open a problem customer ticket and choose the Problem Type “Account Information” and your username and password will be immediately sent to your email address.
When you input your account information, please type it in exactly as you see it in the email or copy and paste it. Make sure there are no spaces before or after your username/email or password.

- Close SpyHunter.
- Re-Open SpyHunter and click on “Update”.
Your Runtime Error 10 problem should be fixed and you should be able to upgrade the program/definitions.
