OINSearch Toolbar Description
OINSearch Toolbar is an advertising software toolbar. OINSearch Toolbar may install onto the user’s computer by a Trojan known as
Zlob, which usually comes bundled on downloadable freeware like video codecs or infects the system through a browser security hole. Once infected, OINSearch Toolbar may generate popups and alert messages. OINSearch Toolbar is also able to redirect the user to malicious websites. In addition, OINSearch Toolbar uses spyware cookies to monitor user’s surfing habits. OINSearch Toolbar is related to ClickSpring adware and often downloaded with other adware and malware.
Trojan.Agent.GJR Description
Trojan.Agent.GJR is a malicious Trojan usually installed in the user’s computer system through a security breach or it may have come bundled with other unwanted malware applications. Trojan.Agent.GJR is created to infiltrate in the user’s computer and allow the entrance of adware and spyware into the its system. As soon as Trojan.Agent.GJR infects the user’s computer, it opens a security breach through which large amounts of adware and spyware are installed. Trojan.Agent.GJR is considered a threat to the security of your personal and financial data.
RegistryDoctor2008 Description
RegistryDoctor2008 or Registry Doctor 2008, is a rogue anti-spyware application that sells itself as an effective registry cleaner. RegistryDoctor2008 is very similar to other popular rogue anti-spyware programs. RegistryDoctor2008 is installed by a Trojan (
Zlob or Vundo) via security exploits, or other fraudulent mechanisms. Once RegistryDoctor2008 is installed, it will scan the user’s computer and generate false warning messages stating that RegistryDoctor2008 has detected a large amount of spyware and that in order to remove them the user must buy its product. These are RegistryDoctor2008 tricks to scare the user into purchasing the full version of the program from its website (RegistryDoctor2008.com). RegistryDoctor2008 may also slow user’s computer performance.
