Spyware Helpdesk

What is Spyware Helpdesk?

Just like most of the Spyware remover programs, SpyHunter scans the files on a computer's hard drive, as well as Windows registry settings, to protect our customers from Spyware and other threats. SpyHunter uses our spyware database to verify each entry or files found on the customer’s computer and determine if this entry or file is legitimate or not.  Once the scan is complete, SpyHunter shows the customer a detailed report of what was found and gives the option to keep or remove those threats.

SpyHunter's database consists of complete component profiles (files, registry settings, MD5 file signatures, and other diagnostic information) of various adware applications, spyware programs, backdoor trojans, browser hijackers, tracking cookies, worms, keyloggers, etc. that commonly afflict computers connected to the Internet.

What makes SpyHunter unique and separates it from other Spyware Remover  products is that if SpyHunter's scanning process is unable to detect a suspicious threat, it gives the customer the option to generate a diagnostic report, within seconds, will transmit this information directly to our Spyware Helpdesk Support Center, which is supervised by our technical support department. Within 24 hours, one of our technicians will review your diagnostic report (SUPPORT LOG) and generate and send a unique fix that will completely remove the parasitic infection that is compromising your system.

When you send us a diagnostic support log, not only do you receive a custom fix to remove any unique infection you might have but we also automatically add this new infection to our definition database, and consequently our next program update.

Spyware program makers consistently update and alter their programs to avoid detection by anti-Spyware utilities like SpyHunter. To provide for this, SpyHunter's spyware database is updated as often as twice a week from diagnostic reports (Support Logs) collected from our customers using the Spyware Helpdesk system and from spyware component profiles assembled through our technical team's active research.

How does the Spyware Helpdesk work?

Our Spyware Helpdesk Support Center offers several levels of support:

level1 We will provide the customer with visual instructions on how to update the Spyhunter Definitions, or to upgrade to the latest version of Spyhunter. Most parasites can be fully removed by simply updating definitions and rescanning with SpyHunter.
level2 We will provide the customer with a custom automated fix generated from the diagnostic report, generated from the Support Log transmitted to our Spyware Helpdesk Support Center. We will send visual instructions on how to execute this custom fix, thus eliminating the spyware infection from the PC.
level3 If the customer has a malevolent threat that neither SpyHunter nor the custom automated fix cannot repair, our customer support technicians will contact the customer on the phone and conduct a remote control session on the customer's PC and kill the threat manually!

All these levels of support are included with your Spyhunter semi-annual subscription. With Spyhunter's Spyware Helpdesk, you are not alone because we are protecting you!

A According to 2 studies (Gartner Research and Harris Interactive), over 7 million people in the U.S. per year became victims of identity theft. That equals 19,178 per day, and is the fastest growing crime in the world. Today the average fraud per person is $6383. It takes the victim 600 hours to resolve the problem. And the emotional impact on victims is similar to that of a violent crime. Approximately 85% of victims are denied credit or employment as a result.
