EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

Package Return is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) which behaves as typical adware. It is created by SuperWeb LLC - a company, associated with numerous unreliable programs. Most of them appeared at the beginning of 2015, and although their names are different, their functionality is always the same. If Package Return finds itself on your PC, it will cause many adverse alterations to the available Internet browsers ‒ including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The most noticeable changes are the regularly appearing pop-ups, banners and hyperlinked words. The purpose of this is very simple ‒ to make you visit the promoted third-party sites. The ads may be appealing as Package Return tracks your on-line activity and adjusts them. Nevertheless, clicking on them is not encouraged as you may find yourself on potentially malicious pages. As you don't gain anything from the aggressive ads, you should think about removing Package Return with special security software.
