(English) AntivirusBest (Rogue) uses BHO Module & Popular Affiliate Networks to Infect Users
AntivirusBEST was found to be a very nasty rogue anti-spyware program that could alert computer users multiple times through their web browser.
AntivirusBEST is known to hijack the web browser in efforts to get computer users to register or purchase a full version of AntivirusBEST. Once AntivirusBEST is installed onto a computer, it can populate the system with several malicious files and registry entries that could cause the web browser program to display alerts when surfing the internet.
Below in figure 1 and figure 2, are examples of how a system with AntivirusBEST behaves when using a web browser application. The alert reads: “Internet Explorer has found an unregistered version of AntivirusBEST. To Protect your computer, please registry your AntivirusBEST.”

Once the web browser message is clicked on, computer users are redirect to the web page, your-security-center.com, to purchase the AntivirusBEST application for $59.95 as shown in figure 3 below.

Note: The full registered version of AntivirusBEST is not able to “Get Rid of All Viruses for $59.95.” Removal of AntivirusBEST is recommended to eliminate bogus alert and warning messages. Removing AntivirusBEST will also reduce the risk of damage to an infected system.
