EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

DropIntoDeals is a (PUP) potentially unwanted program produced by Engaging Apps. The unwanted browser add-on of DropIntoDeals may embed itself in Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The DropIntoDeals browser plug-in may propagate and integrate itself into a Web browser as an extra application packaged with free programs that PC users download and install from unreliable download websites. After installation, DropIntoDeals may create and display various repeated online ads containing interstitial, banner, discount coupon, in-text, video, and sponsored link advertisements. DropIntoDeals may trace the PC user's Internet surfing by recording information such as current location, IP address, Internet surfing (cookies, visited web addresses, websites viewed, entered search terms, and similar details), and other similar hardware and software information. DropIntoDeals may declare to save the PC user's time and money by permitting them to use discount coupons; however, in fact, it may cause delivery of non-stop disturbing ads and slow down Web browsers.
