The Candle Jar browser companion may appear in your extension and plug-in manager after installing a free software bundle with the 'Typical' or 'Express' option. However, you should know that the Candle Jar companion is adware, and it might cover your screen with unsafe advertisements. Security researchers reveal that the Candle Jar adware is developed by the infamous Yontoo LLC that are responsible for GadgetPrise, Surf Slide and Fact Fire. The Candle Jar adware may intrude your privacy by using DOM storage data and session cookies to record your entered search terms on Google, Bing and Yahoo, as well as send a list of your bookmarks and installed programs to advertisers for marketing development purposes. The Candle Jar adware may use a modified browser plug-in to affect browser that run the Gecko, WebKit and Trident rendering engines. The Candle Jar adware may show banners and pop-up windows on non-affiliated Web pages that may link to harmful domains.
