EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. BrowseMark is an unwanted browser plug-in produced by SuperWeb LLC. BrowseMark can be inserted in the Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The extension of BrowseMark may state to make the computer user's Web browsing habits by permitting discount coupons, comparison shopping, and adding extra helpful functionalities. BrowseMark is known to be adware or a PUP (potentially unwanted program). BrowseMark may circulate and install itself onto the PC packaged with other free programs. BrowseMark may enter the PC as an extra application together with the selected freeware. Once installed, the add-on of BrowseMark may create a variety of annoying banner, search, text link, interstitial, transitional, and full page advertisements. BrowseMark may trace the PC user's Internet surfing by recording information such as unique identifier number, IP address, websites viewed and visited, search requests entered, and other software and hardware details.
