BroAps is adware that can be installed onto PCs together with other free applications from the Web. BroAps may display annoying pop-up advertisements and messages on the screen of the PC. The pop-up advertisements displayed by BroAps may encourage the PC user to click on random advertisements pertaining to his Web browsing routine. If the PC user clicks on these pop-up ads, BroAps may reroute the computer user to unwanted websites. BroAps may promote questionable websites, products and services. BroAps may also gather data about the computer user's browsing habits, search phrases and visited websites. One reason to collect this browsing data is to show targeted advertisements.
